Solutions in Action
 |
National Computer Equipment Distribution
Delicate electronics and related materials are delivered on-the-day on-the-hour
to meet technicians for installation. Crating is eliminated cutting down significantly
on shipping expense. Shipments are delivered to the site and placed installation-ready
improving installation efficiency. |
 |
Home Delivery
After making appointments in advance, appliances and new furniture are delivered
into the home within a window of time on a specific day. Shipments are unpackaged,
inspected, assembled and debris is removed. |
 |
Inventory Management
Applying sophisticated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) finished goods inventory
is labeled and stocked in predefined warehouse locations. Some items are boxed
and palletized on racks; related oversized componentry is staged elsewhere
and tied back for whole order shipping. Inventory levels, location and status
are fed to the client through radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment as product
moves through the inbound, storage and outbound cycles. Stocking levels and
release authorizations are internet-enabled. |
 |
Office Relocation
Research and Development client moves laboratory equipment, furniture, and supplies
as well as offices 500 miles. Delicate measuring devices must be serviced,
prepared and certified. Reference library containing over 20,000 technical
journals must be cataloged. The move must be sequenced to minimize production
downtime. |
 |
International Plant Relocation
Manufacturing company located inland US moves operations to the Far East. Requirements
include all customs documentation, compliance, inventory and capital equipment,
staff relocation and offices preparation, containerization and multi-modal
transportation management. Storage and phased set-up overseas must be coordinated
locally. |
In addition to a project-specific organizational team, Service
Management typically includes system performance measurements and
reporting, customized training, development of product-specific
handling systems and standards, IT systems integration and costing
accountability.
