While similar in capabilities and features to High Value Product Transportation, Climate Transportation Services has an added capability of controlling the in-van environment to within very strict tolerances both for humidity and temperature.

Technology today is developing increasingly sophisticated products at a torrid pace. With them come a demand for exacting transportation conditions which, if not precisely controlled may cause irreparable damage to the cargo, effect close engineering tolerances, and induce costly delays. Prototypes and mock-ups often years in development cannot be easily replaced; a canvas from a 16th century master cannot be replaced at all!

McCollister's offers large, over-size climate vans with large door openings for sensitive capital equipment. Many of our air-ride vans are equipped with 6 and 8,000 pound-rated lift gates for added cargo handling flexibility. To support warranty specifications or simply to reduce cargo insurance risk each unit will track in-van environmental conditions and provide a printed read-out for verification.
